George will be 80 on the 11th of April 2008 and from the 11th of April until the 11th of May, George has a special one man exhibition of over 120 paintings and drawings at the Denise Yapp Gallery, Whitebrook. Click the link for details of location and viewing times.
George will also be launching his new book, George Weissbort, Paintings and Drawings, containing over 130 full colour plates of his paintings and drawings as well as transcripts of a filmed interview with George and essays from Tony Rudolph, David Lee, and Bernard Dunstan RA.
The Denise Yapp Gallery is an 18th Century historic grade II listed building in the heart of the Lower Wye Valley. The gallery shows leading contemporary British paintings and sculpture.
